Mousehole in March

As we always say, Cornwall is awesome no matter the time of year and this March had some extra special sunny days once again. On a rare day off, Team RAAR headed out for a day to Mousehole via Penzance. Getting the bus from Penzance lets you enjoy the views over Newlyn and Mounts Bay on the way there and means you don’t have to tackle the narrow roads or car parks. In the school summer holiday time it can become overcrowded and as the roads in and out are small, congested very quickly. Visiting at any other time throughout the rest of the year is normally very easy and pleasant. The sun was shining and the tide out so the harbour provided a beautiful sun trap and it quickly felt like a summer’s day. It is a great time of year to explore and walk around all the beautiful streets and explore around the harbour and path that runs out of the harbour car park and round (at low tides) to a little cafe and great views of Mounts Bay.
